I graduated from Montclair State University with an undergraduate degree in English and a concentration in English Education. I received my masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governor's University. After college I spent five years living and teaching overseas, working with students in Japan, Costa Rica, Peru, Chile, and Uganda. My love of travel is matched by my love of teaching. I see the classroom as a place of inspiration, respect, security, and questioning, and I look forward to working with students each day. In my spare time I enjoy reading, hiking, and bicycling.
